Seit wann bist du bei OCR Frankfurt?
Seit Januar 2016.

Wie bist zu OCR Frankfurt gekommen und warum bist du geblieben?
Durch Zufall. Ich wollte am Wochenende nicht schon wieder alleine durch den Taunus laufen, dann schickte mir jemand Samstagabend einen Link zur Facebook Veranstaltung des OCR Traillaufs und am nächsten Morgen lief ich mit einer angenehm verrückten Gruppe durch den Wald.

Geblieben bin ich vor allem deshalb, weil ich das Gefühl hatte dort hineinzupassen, was ich vorher bei reinen Straßenläufen nie erlebt habe. Innerhalb von 2 Wochen OCR wurde ich überredet mich beim ZUT anzumelden – alleine wäre ich nie auf diese Idee gekommen. Auch an Hindernisläufe taste ich mich nun langsam heran.

Diese “Crazyness” die einfach niemals versteckt wird, gemeinsame Wettkämpfe und Projekte und auch letzten Endes entstandene Freundschaften lassen mich gerne bleiben.

Wie lange läufst du schon?
Schwierig nachzuvollziehen, da ich zum Laufen über das Fitnessstudio während meines Studiums gekommen bin – quasi als Ersatz und Ausgleich (vorher hat man mich nur auf dem Pferderücken gefunden). Ich lief immer mal auf dem Laufband und eigentlich nie draußen. Das änderte sich, als ich mich zu einem Halbmarathon für den Herbst 2013 anmeldete. Also seit 3 Jahren etwa.

Was sind deine größten Erfolge bisher?
Für mich persönlich ist es bisher der größte Erfolg, dass ich in so kurzer Zeit beim OCR meine Grenzen in hohem Maß erweitern konnte und tatsächlich Spaß daran habe Berge raufzurennen. Dass ich mal Ultradistanzen laufen würde, hätte ich mir davor niemals zugetraut…und dann auch noch mit einigen Höhenmetern, fernab von Waldautobahnen. Vor allem mein erster (spontaner) Ultra (K-UT) war das Beste was mir je passiert ist. Eine Erfahrung und Grenzüberschreitungen die man eigentlich nicht beschreiben kann und die ich nicht missen möchte.

Was sind deine Ziele für 2016?
Da wären noch der 24h-Lauf in Rodgau, der Pfalztrail und nicht zu vergessen der Getting Tough (dessen Anmeldung auch mal wieder nicht meine eigene Idee war).

Was ist dein Hauptziel?
Mein Hauptziel ist es bei den Ultratrails zu bleiben, zu schauen was noch möglich ist, vielleicht auch mal in anderen Ländern und bei ganz anderen Bedingungen zu laufen. Ein weiteres spannendes Ziel sind Etappenläufe.

Welches ist dein Lieblingsrennen?
Bisher ist der Keufelskopf-Ultra ungeschlagen, aber wer weiß was noch kommt 🙂

Welches ist dein Lieblingshindernis?
Mein eigener Kopf..

Welchen Sport machst du sonst noch?
Mountainbiken, Krafttraining, Dressurreiten

Willst du sonst noch irgendetwas loswerden?
Um mal ein ziemlich gutes Motto zu zitieren: “Obsessed is just a word the lazy use to describe the dedicated”!
